Ok so I changed my plans again…. I’m going to stay at Olaf now for the summer but I’m going to try and get a group together to live off campus because Thorson is going to be brutal this summer if it’s half as bad as it was last summer up here….

Well it’s been awhile again hasn’t it? I started my final Paper for Econ 399 today…. I’m still not sure where I’m going with it but it looks like it’ll be Intellictual Property Rights and if the US will push it’s corprate agenda on the rest of the world like they did to citizens thanks to the DMCA.
I also talked to Roberta this week about the ACC job. She didn’t tell me not to apply so I guess that’s a good sign 🙂 They don’t actually know what the job will be when it finally opens up but when there’s a good idea on what they want/need the new person to do she know’s I’m intrested but that’s unlikely to be known for another few weeks so I’m starting to think that I might go home and finish up my degree at UMD since it’ll be far less expensive than doing it here but we’ll see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
Amber is on Norseman tour this weekend so it’s a pretty boring weekend for me… Last night I went to Froggy’s and we actually closed the joint. It was definatly a good time but I still don’t understand how some people are able to do that on a regular basis… oh well such is life.
Yesterday we played some soccor down on the practice fields and I’m actually feeling pretty good today not nearly as sour as I was expecting to be 🙂 Well the nice warm spring day has left us with a cool, cloudy spring day so maybe I can get some more work done without the distraction of wanting to play outside 🙂
I miss Chris. He’s so far away. Today Missy and I went to the Salt Lake Temple, and to the Great Salt Lake. We had pizza with my sister, too. But there was no Chris 🙁 I hope he writes to me soon!

Wow it’s been almost a month since I did this… I told you that I wouldn’t get around to doing this very often :-)…. well whats in the news? I’m going snowboarding on Saturday with Amber that should be interesting as I have never snowboarded before so we’ll see if I survive that one.
My MAME CD’s should show up tomorrow or Saturday so I’ll be one step closer to building myself an ultimate arcade machine.
We’re also installing the SKUNK server early next week so it’ll be available to the outside world to see (not that there is anything interesting on there right now).

Being sick sucks but I’m getting over it quickly.
I as many other Oles head back to the dear old hill tomorrow and even though Sam seems to think I should take the train I’m not going to (although I think I will look into it for next time I come North) but it just gets to the cities too late for my liking and besides I really should work in Media tomorrow night anyway.
I went and played some hockey this afternoon for a while. I wish I could have played for longer but it has just been too long since I skated on a regular basis. Since it has been so warm down south I think I’ll leave my stick and skates here which I guess makes today my only time on ice this year…..
For some reason I feel like I have something else to say but I don’t remember what it is at this point. If I remember I’ll post it later.
I suppose I should explain the above posting. Tonight a group of us went over to SC280 (the large lecture hall) to watch a movie. We just brought a bunch of movies and picked one from those that we brought. It was me and 6 females…. I stayed out of it and made all the equiptment work :-). In only half an hour they made a decision this decision was to watch “Girl Interupted” not a bad movie but it was about 40 minutes too long… especially considering security was there to lock it up and just sat down and watched the rest of the movie with us 🙂
Anyway that was my night.
It’s been quite the day. My Handspring Visor died today. My friend Sam broke his a month or so ago and bought a new one. Fortunatly for me his had a broken screen but still worked. Mine didn’t work but had a good screen. So what did I do? I took them both apart used my screen and his mainboard to frankenstein myself a working Visor again… Good thing too because Handspring discontinued the deluxe model reciently so it would have been a $200 screwup thanks to a forced upgrade to the Neo model. But it all worked out quite well for me :-).
Amber comes back to campus in a week.
for an easy class this darn excel class has a heck of a lot of homework… tonight I get to do 13 cases which really isn’t any big deal if I can keep myself from getting distracted anymore but so be it… now that I emailed my service provider yet again about a couple of problems I’m having that they seem not to want to reply to I’ll get back to work… oh btw stotella rocks 🙂
